Hello! You have hopefully found this page because you are looking for a new badminton club to play at, so whether you have recently moved to the area or just fancy a change of club this is the place to find out more!

Purwell's take on a badminton club differs slightly from the norm. Yes we take our badminton seriously, with teams in the local leagues but we also like to have fun with regular social events, and the almost obligatory trip to the local pub after club nights!

What to do next?

The best way to find out about us to to visit! We operate a 3 week trial period so we can get to know you and you can find out about us. Guest members are charged £3 per night.

It helps to let us know in advance that you are coming, so please call either of the people listed below, or fill in our contact form. Otherwise just pop down and make yourself known!

Club Night Details

Purwell's club night is on a Friday night at Hitchin Boy's School. We have two courts between 8.00 and 10.30pm (though most of us are in the pub by then!).
